Uno studio europeo misura la quantità di cibo sprecato in sei paesi: Regno Unito, Paesi Bassi, Danimarca, Finlandia, Germania e Romania. Ne viene fuori che un sesto del cibo nei nostri piatti viene sprecato. Lo studio ne misura l’impatto su risorse come acqua ed azoto.

In a world with limited resources, food security can only be achieved by a more sustainable use of resources, along with adaptations to our consumption behaviour, including the reduction or, ideally, the eradication of food waste.
